Thursday, November 13, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Constable Wilbert Chan faces several charges for a traffic mishap two weeks ago that left a man injured.
The 34 year old pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Dale Cayetano to driving without due care and attention, negligent harm and failure to conform to a traffic sign.
On October 24, 2014, Chan was driving a vehicle belonging to the Police Department when he failed to stop at a stop sign on Cleghorn Street.
The vehicle subsequently knocked down and injured one Daniel Grey.
Chan is out on bail of $3,000 and returns to court next January 12, 2015.
