Friday, November 14, 2014. PATRICK E. JONES Reporting: Galen University today announced that come 2015, it will be expanding its online programs by offering two new online/hybrid undergraduate programs and one graduate program.

A statement from Galen University says that the new undergraduate programs are Accounting and Sustainable Tourism Management, while Public Administration is the new graduate program.

According to the official statement, Galen University will also be offering a Master of Education in Leadership and Administration next year.

This program will be offered through Galen’s partner institution, the University of Nicosia.

“These flexible online programs eliminate the need to be physically present in a classroom and are instructed one module at a time for focused learning,” says the Galen University statement.

The educational institution says that its dedicated team of faculty and staff “deliver relevant, quality, live-online programs, using innovative technology, designed to meet the needs of our students.”

Galen University currently has ten centers countrywide and in addition to the new online programs, also offers an online undergraduate program in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Criminal Justice and Primary Education.

At the Graduate level, programs are offered in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics and Secondary Education.

If you are interested in enrolling in any of the two new undergraduate programs or the graduate program, you can visit the main campus near Central Farm or other centers in Belmopan and Orange Walk during normal working hours.

Prospective students who enroll by November 30 are eligible for a tuition grant of up to 20%, which Galen University says is part of the institution’s contribution towards making tertiary level education more available to Belizeans.
