Monday, November 17, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: Three persons were charged separately with keeping firearm and ammunition without a gun license when they appeared in court today.
The first was 35 year old Byron Vialdorez of Maskall Street.
Police recovered a .22 pistol with five rounds of ammunition in the magazine which they say they saw him throw into a yard on November 15 around 7:50 p.m. while on mobile patrol on Maskall Street.
Vialdorez was with three other men and when he saw police coming, they said, he ran and they set chase.
Chief Magistrate Ann Marie Smith remanded Vialdorez until January 16, 2015.
Meanwhile, a mother and two of her sons were charged with kept firearm and ammunition without a gun license when they appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Anne Marie Smith.
41 year old Indira Skeete, 23 year old Linsford Lord and 20 year old Hansel Ciego pleaded not guilty to the charges and they were remanded into custody until January 15.
The incident occurred on Friday, November 14.
The police reported that they went to the residence of Skeete, located at 40 Dean Street, and when they searched the yard they found one 9 millimeter pistol with 5 rounds of ammunition in its magazine.
