Monday, December 15, 2014. JUAN CAAL Reporting: Work has begun on the dismantling of the building that housed the Punta Gorda Sport Auditorium.

That is because a new, larger structure will be put in place to facilitate sporting and other community activities.

According to Punta Gorda Mayor Anthony Fuentes the project will cost around $3 million and should be completed within 24 months.

When the new PG Sport Auditorium is completed, it will  be a much improved venue for community activities, including sport and entertainment.
