Monday, December 29, 2014. AARON HUMES Reporting: The decomposed body of a man was found at a yard on Eve Street in Belize City.

Police are currently investigating and have cordoned off the area.

Photographs of the area show residents of a nearby building watching from their veranda as the police carry out their investigation.

Preliminary indications are that the body is that of  a Guatemalan national.

No further details are yet available that could indicated the cause or manner of death.
