Tuesday, February 3, 2015. GWEN NUNEZ GONZALEZ Reporting: Belmopan Methodist High School held inauguration ceremonies today for the second floor of its first school building.

The school started August 2013 with its first cohort of 1st form students with one floor and those students got promoted to second form and had to work in a semi-complete 2nd floor for their classes.

Many groups of Methodist Missions from abroad, including the United Methodist Circuit Kentucky Conference, came to assist with the construction plus donated financially to the cause.

The Ministry of Education donated $25,000.00 while the foreign partners donated the balance.

The students entertained the audience and remarks were delivered by Reverend Roosevelt Papouloute, Methodist District President, Sister Elley Fisk from United Methodist Circuit, Kentucky Conference and Gwen Nuñez Gonzalez from Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.

Reverend Angus Cayetano from the school management blessed and welcomed the audience.

The Dedication and Blessing of the Classrooms and Computer Lab was done by Reverend C. David Goff and Reverent Brian Duncan.

Ribbons were cut by Gwen Nunez Gonzalez, on behalf of the Ministry of Education along with other stakeholders including Sister Elley Fisk.

Mrs. Maureen Cayetano, Principal of Belmopan Methodist School, gave the vote of thanks.
