Wednesday, February 25, 2015. BMG: Mainly fair, warm and mostly dry conditions are currently prevailing factors in our weather heading into the second part of the week.

The general forecast for Belize and her coastal waters is for mostly sunny skies today.

Tonight will be clear.

Little or no rainfall is expected.

Winds over the open sea and along the coast will be easterly to southeasterly at 5 to 15 knots.

The sea state will be light chop to choppy.

High temperatures tonight will be around 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 75 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

The tides: there will be a high tide at 2:54 pm.  A low tide follows at 10:32 pm.

The sunset is at 5:58 pm.

The extended forecast, valid through to Friday is for continuing mainly fair and warm weather with the chance of isolated showers inland and in the north.
