Friday, February 27, 2015. BMG: At least one person has been detained by police in Belize City after missiles were thrown at Cayo North-East area representative Elvin Penner after leaving court this morning.

Penner was at the Supreme Court for a hearing on the inferior court appeal relating to the private prosecution of Penner which was started by Citizens Organized for Liberty through Action, COLA.

A decision on the inferior court appeal is now expected by the middle of March.
