Wednesday, March 4, 2015. BMG: A San Pedro businessman was shot and killed last night and a customer seriously injured in the shooting incident.

Thirty eight year old Pablo Barbosa was pronounced dead just after 8 pm on Tuesday, following the shooting incident inside his shop in the San Pedrito area of San Pedro town.

A customer inside the shop at the time of the shooting identified as 36 year old Humberto Alcoser, Jr. was shot to his neck.

According to police reports, around 7:45 pm a man wearing a black cap and with a blue rag tied around his face, entered the shop and fired three shots, hitting Pablo Barbosa to the head.

Police say that Humberto Alcoser, Jr attempted to disarm the gunman and that was when he was shot to his neck.

The gunman then fled the scene of the murder.

Police say that Humberto Alcoser, Jr has since been transported to the Karl Heunser Memorial Hospital for medical treatment and is listen in a serious but stable condition.

Barbosa’s body is at the morgue at the KHMH awaiting a post mortem examination. Police investigations continue.
