Tuesday, March 10, 2015. JUAN CAAL Reporting: As part of festivities leading up to Maya Day, the Tumulkin Center of Learning held the annual Torch Run on Monday, March 9.
It started at the Nim Li Punit archaeological site and teams of runners took th torch through several villages, including Indian Creek, Silver Creek, San Miguel, San Pedro Columbia, Mafredi and ending in Blue Creek village.
Esther Sanchez Sho is the Managing Director of the Tumulkin Center of Learning.
Maya Day will be held on Sunday, March 22.
