Inmates charged for drug trafficking

Wednesday, March 18, 2015. AARON HUMES Reporting: Prison officials generally do a good job of keeping cannabis out of the prison, but it does occasionally get in and today five inmates on remand for murder are being accused of possession of marijuana for distribution.

31 year old Kenrick Parham; 20 year old Khalil Ponce; 20 year old Micah Tillett; 22 year old Devon Goodger; and 21 year old Jermaine Moody, pleaded not guilty to drug trafficking charges before Senior Magistrate Sharon Frazer in court today.

The five men were charged after a search of their prison cell turned up 78 grams of cannabis.

The case has been adjourned until May 15, 2015.
