Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Larry Waight Reporting:Women spend their days taking care of family, bosses and even friends, which is why so many of them flocked to Belize’s first “Reset Retreat,” a females-only adventure held at Ambergris Caye. The inaugural retreat proved so successful, organizers are fleshing out details for second one now.

How do they measure success? The first Reset Retreat was completely sold out, which is why the next getaway, scheduled for 4th to 9th November 2015, is likely to be equally as popular and perhaps attract second timers.

This unique four-day retreat will be packed with opportunities for relaxation, self-improvement and personal growth. If attendees are anything like those at the first event, they will be inspired and amazed by the variety of activities available to them, including daily life coaching sessions, yoga classes, meals designed to improve health and detox the body.

There will also be time set aside for exploring the island and participating in charitable activities as well.

Retreat co-founder Natalie Jenkins wasn’t surprised when the first retreat filled so fast. It’s not every day that women are invited on a personal journey, during which time they learn to shatter boundaries, maximize their potential and conquer obstacles–all within a nurturing environment of other women committed to their own journeys. Participants even learn how to recognize their own negative behaviors so they can make changes leading them to an emotionally healthy future.

Guest Jen Utley had no idea how much she needed the retreat until she arrived. She discovered that when expectations and pressures that weighed heavily on her disappeared, and a nurturing environment of like-minded women surrounded her, the experience changed the way Utley now views herself and the world around her.

That’s exactly the way retreat participants are supposed to feel, says Natalie and other founders, Bianca, Crystal and Cierra. The four had high hopes for the first retreat and are delighted that so many women signed up for and benefitted from their experiences during their four day participation.

“Our prevailing intention is personal growth,” says Natalie. “We create opportunities for [women] to begin a personally unique journey in an unforgettable manner.”

Those signing up for the second retreat will find themselves in the company of women of all ages and social strata. Visit the Reset Retreat website for additional details (www.resetretreat.com), but don’t think too long about booking a reservation in light of the speed at which reservations filled the first time around.
