Thursday, March 26, 2015. BMG: Corozal police have arrested and charged three people, including a 14 year old minor, for the offence of drug trafficking.

This follows an early morning anti-drug operation in Libertad village, Corozal on Wednesday.

According to reports, around 7:30 am yesterday, police searched the residence of James Hinds, Sr. but found nothing incriminating.

While officers were searching Hind’s yard, they found a plastic bag containing marijuana.

Hinds, his wife Yolanda Cordova and the 14 year old minor were informed of the crime committed, placed under arrest and taken to the Corozal police station.

Police say all three were jointly charged for the crime of drug trafficking.
