The MOAS for students of the Hemisphere is a program of the Organization of American States (OAS), designed to promote democratic values among the youth of the Hemisphere by familiarizing students, faculty and academic institutions of the Americas with the work of the OAS and its Member States, as well as with the Organization’s role as the premier political forum in the Hemisphere.

Today, a congratulatory ceremony for the six students was held in the Conference room of the Central Farm Campus where each student shared their experience of the summit with their peers.

Brayton Codd, one of the students that attended the event told Belize Media Group that it was a great learning experience for him.

According to Codd, students were divided into three different categories: The General Category where they had to research on the impact of Migration of youth and the lack of opportunities in their country.
