This day is set aside for the students of the faculty to display all the projects they have done over the course of the year. The event focused on topics surrounding Belizean History and Culture. Today’s event featured addresses from students, lecturers and invited guests about the importance of keeping the cultural values alive in Belize. Mr. Anthony Brown, the lecturer in charge of coordinating this event, told us that the event is important for creating awareness about the loss of cultural practices that not only affects the students but the country in a whole.
Special recognition was given to Dr. Joan Cardenaz as most outstanding lecturer for the semester and Mr. Fidel Kuk for his dedication and hard work as Student Government President.
