12 persons arrested and charged for drugs and firearms in Roaring Creek

Sunday, April 26^th, 2015. BMG: GSU Commander, Mark Flowers informed Belize Media Group this morning that they are presently in the village of Roaring Creek conducting an intensive operation that up to now has proven to be successful.

According to Flowers, yesterday a dozen people were arrested and charged for drugs and firearms in Roaring Creek, Cayo District. “Six have been charged for drugs, 5 for firearms and ammunition, and 1 for ammunition,” Flowers told us.

“There are several areas within Belize that need continuous attention: Orange Walk Town, Ladyville, Belize City and San Pedro,” Flowers added when asked if the GSU will continue its intensive operations throughout the country.
