Monday, April 27th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting more hot and dry weather this week. Today will be mainly sunny and hot and tonight it is expected to be warm. No rain fall is expected.
Winds will blow to the East to South East at 10 to 20 knots and the sea state will be moderate.
High temperatures today are expected to be in the high 92degrees Fahrenheit along the coast a whopping 99 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and an 83 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected at 5:05pm and a low tide at 11:40am.
The sun will set at 6:12pm and the extended forecast until Tuesday is for similar conditions.
TIP of the Day:
Limit yourself to the exposure of the sun during the hottest time of the day, especially 10am-3pm.If you must go out when it is hot, make sure you apply sunscreen, wear a sun hat and stay in the shade when possible.
