Tuesday, April 28th, 2015. BMG: One man from the village of San Narciso in the Corozal District is facing the long arms of the law.
According to 23 years old, Sabrina Martinez, on Friday, April 24th, she was on her way home on the main road of the village when she was approached by a male person she recognized as Nelson Claros, also known as “Wicho”.
Martinez claims that Wicho approached her begging for money to purchase marijuana and she responded she didn’t have any money and continued walking home. According to Sabrina, she was texting on her phone when she suddenly felt someone pushed her violently on her chest which caused her to fall on the ground.
She noticed that it was Nelson Claros, who had pushed her who then proceeded to snatch her Samsung Galaxy phone valued at $213.50 along with a sim card and 1 black 4g memory card.
Quick police respond led to the detention of Nelson Claros, a 31 years old Belizean laborer of San Narciso Village, who was charged for the crime of robbery.
Martinez properties however were not recovered.
