Taxi driver charged for unlawful sex with nine year old

Tuesday, April 28^th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting:  26 year old Salvadoran national Daniel Rios, a taxi driver of Starfish Crescent, was charged with unlawful sexual intercourse of a female child 9 years and 5 months old when he appeared today before the Chief Magistrate, Ann-Marie Smith.

Rios was also charged with wounding. He was remanded into custody until August 5. The child reported to the police that Rios had sex with her at his home on April 24. The child was taken to the hospital where she was examined by a doctor who classified the injury to her private part as wounding.
