Tuesday, May 5th 2015. BMG: Belize Media Group currently has one of its reporter in the village of Georgeville in the Cayo District who is reporting to our news desk that there is about 50 people specifically women who are protesting on the streets.
According to our reporter, the villagers are discontented with the new water board management and are clamoring for the removal of Maureen Arnold who is the president of the board.
The water board has been disconnecting the water service of the villagers who have unpaid bills. However, residents claim that the water board is not properly appointed and that they are unable to pay their bills because there is no place to pay it.
Police have been dispatched to the scene.
