Friday, May 8th 2015. BMG: “TGIF” Thank God it’s Friday, and if you are wondering if it will be a dry Mother’s Day weekend, here is a look at the four day forecast leading into Monday.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting, mostly sunny today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated and winds will blow to the East at 10 to 20 knots. The sea state will be choppy to moderate.
High temperatures are expected to be around 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 80 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected at 12:27 pm today and a low tide at 7:41 pm this evening.
The sun will set at 6:15pm.
The extended forecast valid through Saturday and Saturday night is for similar weather conditions.
