Benque Police Need Your Help in Identifying John Doe

Monday, May 11^th, 2015. BMG: Yesterday residents of San Jose Succotz in the Cayo District reported to police that a body of a Hispanic male person was observed floating in the Mopan River.

Officials immediately dispatched a team to the area.

On today’s date, we understand that the body remains on the scene since investigators are planning an on-site post mortem to confirm his death.

Officer Commanding the Benque Police formation, Superintendent Daniel Arzu stated that they are dealing with a John Doe case since there are no reports of missing person in that community.

Meanwhile Benque police are presently still investigating.
