Rawell Pelayo steps down as Vice President of the FFB
Thursday May 14, 2015. BMG: Following his deportation back into the country on April 7th, 2015 the faith of Rawell Pelayo was in jeopardy as the Vice President of the Football Federation of Belize.
Well, this fate is no longer in limbo since confirmation of his resignation was issued in an FFB release yesterday.
The releases states that Pelayo has voluntarily stepped down as the Vice President of the FFB and tendered his resignation last week Saturday to the Secretary General.
Since his return to Belize, questions were raised concerning his status with the F.F.B. Although his fate was never discussed openly during the F.F.B.’s ordinary congress on April thirteenth, it was anticipated that Pelayo would step down on his own free-will.
A second vice president is yet to be elected to replace Pelayo but officials say a member of the Federation will be elected to take over the post.
