Friday, May 15th, 2015. BMG: In a press briefing with the Prime Minister Dean Barrow yesterday in Belize City, several national issues were brought up among a pool of journalists and media stations.
One of the topics was on the appointment of Nestor Mendez as Deputy Secretary to the Organization of the American States (OAS).
Mendez is scheduled to leave in July to Washington.
The PM also added that they are looking at appointing the retiring CEO of Scotia Bank, Mr. Pat Andrews as Ambassador of Belize in Washington.
