Alicia Thompson wins the 26th Annual women cross country classic

Monday, May 18^th, 2015. BMG: One of the biggest cycling events in Belize, took place yesterday, May 17^th and emerging as Champion was Alicia Thompson who took Gold in 2015 Women Cross Country. 

It began at 8:00a.m and the women peddled a total of 70 miles from San Ignacio to Belize City where Alicia Thompson was crowned the 2015 women cross country champion.

Kaya C. Cattouse finished in second and Shallini Zabaneh crossed the line third to round out the top three.

We would like to congratulate all the cyclists who participated in the race, especially Ms. Alicia Thompson.
