Monday, May 18th, 2015. BMG: Authorities in Stann Creek are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place sometime last night around 11:15pm.

According to 26 year old Victor Mason Cuevas, a resident of Monkey River Village in the Stann Creek District, he was heading home with some friends in his white Ford motor vehicle when he heard a hail of gun shots being fired in their direction.

The shots caused the vehicle windows to shatter and two of the passengers were grazed and received minor injuries.

Immediately after, Cuevas reports to have sped off from the area.

In his statement to police, Cuevas added that he had an altercation with a male person prior to the shooting incident.

Stann Creek Police are looking for one person of interest.
