Home Invasion in Hopkins

Tuesday, May 19^th, 2015. BMG: On May 15th around 7:30 p.m. American National Ralph Porter and his wife Juanita Buckles were victims of an armed home invasion.

Porter reported that he heard his dogs barking outside their home in Hopkins and upon making checks behind his house, he came in contact with three masked men dressed in black.

One of the masked men who was armed with a Black Handgun pointed the weapon and forced him into his house where both Porter and his wife were ordered to lie on the floor.

The thieves made their escape with $50.00 in cash and other electronic items valued at approximately $4,650.00. Police are investigating.
