Police charge two for murder of Ralston Patnett

Friday, June 12^th, 2015. Aaron Humes Reporting: Dangriga Police have charged 30-year-old Brandon Mason Kerr of mile 21, George Price Highway, and 32-year-old Lindberg Oxford Williams of Commerce Bight Road Dangriga were charged jointly with the murder retired fire chief 51 year old Ralston Wilburn Patnett of Dangriga.

Patnett was reportedly shot with a 12-gauge single action Rossi shotgun stolen from the residence of 68 year old Edmond Domenic Couch, American retiree of Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. resident on Commerce Bight Road in Dangriga during a burglary on June 8.

Patnett had been appointed caretaker of the property. Police recovered the firearm and thirty four 12-gauge Aguila live cartridges from an abandoned lot along the same road two days later.

A post-mortem examination certified Patnett’s cause of death to be “lungs, heart and liver injuries due to chest and abdominal trauma due to shot gun injuries.”
