Friday, June 12th, 2015. BMG: A traffic mishap on the Philip Goldson highway sent five persons with varying injuries to the Northern Regional Hospital this afternoon.
Authorities say the incident occurred between miles 46 and 47 in the outskirts of Carmelita village around 1:30pm. Reports are that six persons travelling north bound in a red ford ranger experienced car trouble when the driver lost control causing the vehicle to swerve and flip on its right side.
The passengers who were both in the pan and the cab were flung causing their injuries.
It is not confirmed if any of the passengers have succumbed to their injuries.
The vehicle is registered to one Demetrio Cowo of a Corozal Town Address.
