Tuesday, June 16th 2015. BMG: The PUP will contest the bye-election for a new Dangriga Representative that is scheduled for July 8th.
Last week Tuesday, the party was unsure if they would contest the election, due to lack of funds, and available finance being directed towards the upcoming general election.
However, the PUP has since assessed that the party must defend the seat, even if it seems an overwhelming feat.
While some say it is one week lost, with the bye-elections a mere 23 days away, others are simply grateful that the Party is willing to fight for the seat in the Dangriga constituency.
