Wednesday, June 17th, 2015. BMG: Yesterday, June 16th on two separate occasions, Seine Bight and Placencia police have managed to remove firearms from the streets.
Working off tips, Placencia’s Quick Response Team searched multiple areas in the small Village of Seine Bight and in an abandoned yard, officers found a homemade firearm which was then taken to the Placencia Police station and labeled as “Found property”.
Later in the day, the Placencia Quick Response Team, once again acting on intelligence, conducted another search behind the cemetery in Independence Village where they discovered a Daewoo 9mm pistol wrapped inside a plastic bag.
That search was done around 4:30pm and the firearm was also taken to the Placencia Police station and labeled as “Found property”.
