Guadalupe Magana wins convention in Orange Walk South

Sunday, June 21, 2015. BMG: Guadalupe Magana is now the official standard bearer for the UDP in the Orange Walk South Constituency.

Magana, Darlene Padron, and German Tillett were the three candidates that stepped to the plate for the post of standard bearer.

At 5 pm the polling station closed with a total of 2535 votes casted.

After the counting ended the people of Orange Walk south had elected Guadalupe Magana as the standard bearer.

The final and official results of today’s convention are below:

Lupe Magana—1021, Darlene Padron-770 and German Tillett—736.

A total of 8 votes were rejected.
