Jamelia Neal escapes death when gunman misfired

Thursday, June 25th, 2015. BMG: 28 year old Jamelia Neal is lucky to be alive today after an attack from an unknown gunman was skewed.

According to police report, Neal was walking on Faber’s road on Tuesday night, when a lone gunman approached her and pointed a firearm in her direction.

Neal claims that the gunman pulled the trigger but fortunately misfired. Upon seeing that the firearm mal-functioned, she pushed him to the ground and made a mad dash for her life.

The assailant scrambled to his feet and fired a second shot in her direction injuring her. Neal was transported to the KHMH in a stable condition.

Police are looking for one suspect for questioning.
