Student clings to life after receiving gunshot to the head

Thursday, June 25th, 2015. BMG: A 15 year old student clings to life after he was shot in the head on Monday night.

Reports are that the second Form student, Tyrique Thompson today remains in induced coma, after he was shot to the head.

Sentiments from the family reaching our newsroom are that the incident was believed to be a message sent to the neighborhoods of the ongoing turf war that keeps plaguing the city.

And while family members are hoping for the best, presently Thompson remains in a critical condition.
