Weather conditions to gradually improve in the next 24 hours

Friday, June 26, 2015. BMG: The general forecast for today, Friday June 26th, calls for a gradual improvement in weather conditions for the next 24 hours.

The 24 hour forecast is for mostly cloudy with few showers, thunderstorms and some periods of rain over most areas this morning. Conditions will gradually decrease by this afternoon. Tonight’s forecast is for partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Winds will blow east to northeast at 10 to 20 knots, becoming gusty causing heavy showers and thunderstorms.

Sea state is moderate becoming locally rough at times. There is a small craft caution in effect.

High temperatures are expected to be around 84 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 88 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 78 degrees Fahrenheit up on the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A low tide is expected at 12:33 pm and a high tide at 5:49pm.

The sun will set in at 6:31pm.

The extended forecast valid through Saturday night is for partly cloudy skies with isolated showers and isolated thunderstorms.
