Mainly fair conditions to prevail over the country

Monday, July 6th, 2015. BMG: Weather conditions for the Country over the next few days are expected to remain fair.

The National Meteorological Service of Belize predicts sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Thunderstorms or showers will be isolated. For the remainder of the week, current weather conditions are expected to continue.

Winds will blow from the East at 10 to 20 knots with occasional higher gusts. The sea state is moderate to rough and small craft caution is in effect.

High temperatures today are expected around 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 81 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected at 1:00 pm and a low tide this evening at 7:43 pm. The Sun will set at 6:32 pm.

The extended forecast until Tuesday night is for mainly fair weather with only isolated showers or thunderstorms developing.
