Orange Walk holds youth conference

Wednesday, July 22, 2015. Orange Walk Bureau Reporting: A two day Youth Conference concluded today in Orange Walk Town with a certificate ceremony at the Banquitas House of Culture compound.

Approximately 35 participants were engaged in sessions of Mediation, Identity and Values Clarification.

The program was spearheaded by Town Councilor Shantel Casimiro and facilitated by Reverend Sydney Flores of H.O.P.E Ministry in Philadelphia.

The students expressed their content with the sessions stating that they do know how to deal with peer pressures, conflict resolution and self-esteem issues.
