Sunday, August 2nd, 2015. Victor Castillo Reporting: The Jaguars and the national under-23 football selection of Belize will be visiting Orange Walk Town today, playing against that municipality’s U-23 and senior selection.
Organizer Edmundo Canul told BMG that the objective of today’s matches is to provide an opportunity for players in the north to have a fair chance of being scouted for the national U 23 and National Selection. It also serves as a practice for Team Belize.
The games are scheduled to start at 1:30 pm as part of Fiestarama activities with the U-23 selections meeting at the Louisiana Football field and immediately thereafter the National Selection “Team Jaguars” will go up against the hosting team Orange Walk Football Club.
Organizers of today’s event are: Edmundo Canul, Alex Palacio, Albert Burns and Ben Ramos Jr.
The Jaguars are in preparations to face Canada in World Cup qualifying in early September.
