Minor sought in Corozal stabbing murder

Wednesday, August 5^th, 2015. BMG: Corozal Police are today piecing together information of a fatal stabbing in that municipality.

According to police report, on August 4^th, around 9:53 pm, they visited the Corozal Community Hospital where they observed the lifeless body of 23 year old Samir Vivas.

On the body police observed one single stab wound to the chest.

Initial investigation has revealed that around 8:30 pm, Vivas was in front of his house at Venezuelan Site, Corozal Town when he had an argument with a 15-year-old minor who inflicted the stab wound to him. He was transported to the Corozal Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body now awaits a postmortem examination. Police is looking for the minor as investigation continues.
