Wednesday, August 5th, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological service of Belize calls for a relatively moist airflow which will persist for another 12 hours within the country. Conditions are to return to fair and warm weather shortly after.
The 24 hour forecast is for sunny with cloudy spells today and cloudy at times tonight.
Few showers and thunderstorms will continue to affect mainly over the seas, central and northern areas this afternoon and during the evening, then mostly over the south tonight.
Winds blow from the east from 10 to 20 knots with higher gust near showers and thunderstorms.
Sea State is considered to be moderate becoming locally rough at time. A small craft caution is in effect.
High temperatures are expected in the Coast at 87 degrees F, inland at 94 degrees F and in the Hills at 81 degrees F.
A high tide is expected at 1:49 pm, a low tide at 7:55 pm.
The Sun will set in at 6:24 m.
The extended forecast valid through Thursday afternoon to Friday is for fair and warm with the chance of only isolated thunderstorm developing.
