Cayo man charged for ammunition

ammuniationThursday, August 13th, 2015 BMG: 20 year old Roberto Leiva, a resident of Unitedville, Cayo District, was arrested yesterday, August 12, for the offence of “Kept Ammunition without a Gun License”, after a search of his home led to the discovery of ammunition.

San Ignacio Police on a special operation visited Leiva’s home around 5:45 a.m. and found a cigarette pack containing two .38 rounds of live ammunition.

Leiva could not produce a gun license and as a result was arrested and taken to the San Ignacio Police Station.
