Tuesday, September 1st, 2015. BMG: A weak tropical wave supporting a slight increase in moisture today.
The National Meteorological Service of Belize predicts cloudy skies today and tonight with a few showers over most areas along with isolated thunderstorms.
Winds will be blowing from the East at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy – moderate.
High temperatures today are expected around 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.
A high tide is expected this morning at 11:54 a.m and a low tide this evening at 5:53 p.m.
The Sun will set at 6:06 pm this evening.
The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for sunny or partly cloudy skies with generally isolated showers and thunderstorms.
