Three men and a minor remanded for drugs and ammunition offenses

Thursday, September 3^rd, 2015. BMG: Dominique Franklyn, John Henry, Elwin Evans and a 17 year old female minor are spending their first night at the Belize Central Prison after magistrate Hurl Hamilton remanded them for the offences of drug trafficking and possession of ammunition.

For context, Corozal Police acting upon information intercepted two vehicles last night at around 9:00 p.m. in the Buena Vista Junction area.

According to police reports, A Nissan Xterra and a Nissan Altima were both searched by officers and found inside were a total of 502.8 grams of cannabis and a 9mm Browning hand gun, along with an extended magazine containing 15 live rounds of ammunition.

The four occupants of the vehicles were taken to the Corozal Police Station where they were informed of the offences committed.
