Nineteen year old escapes with life after murder attempt

generic-shooting-graphicMonday, September 7th, 2015. BMG: Nineteen-year-old Winston Ramclam, a Belize City resident of Freedom Street, is lucky to be alive after he was shot twice on Friday night just as he was about to enter his yard.

Ramclam told officers that he was enetering his yard around just after 9:00 p.m. that night when he heard several shots being fired, two of which injured him.

Police visited the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) around 9:12 p.m. that same night, where they saw Ramclam suffering from a gunshot wound to the left ankle and another to the upper left arm.

No one has been arrested in connection with this incident yet but police investigations continue.
