American national chopped to death in Corozal

Tuesday, September 8th, 2015. BMG: Around 11:45 a.m., the lifeless body of 47 year old American, John Ross, was found lying face up on the ground ½ miles West of Xaibe Village, Corozal District on Monday with multiple chop wounds.

A group of men went to Ross’ farm to purchase something from him when they made the grim discovery and alerted the Corozal Police.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers saw the body in the farm yard beside a septic tank with chop wounds to the neck, face and right arm.

Police investigations into the matter are underway.
