Friday, September 11th, 2015. BMG: A press release issued by the Belize Bureau of Standards serves to inform the general public that Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices will be lowered by $4.00 – $5.00 per 100 pound cylinder, effective September 11th.
The decrease is a result of a drop in crude oil prices and a reduction in the trading prices in international markets, meaning that Belizean importers are able to get LPG from PEMEX and Central American importers at a reduced priced, trickling down to the Belizean consumers.
Compared to 2014, LPG prices are at an average of $32.00 lower on the 100 pound cylinder.
