Warm and mostly dry weather prevails

Tuesday, September 15, 2015. BMG: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is predicting sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and cloudy spells at times tonight. Isolated showers or thunderstorms will occur, more so over inland areas this afternoon and over the South tonight.

Winds will be blowing from the East at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High temperatures today are expected at around 90 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 95 degrees Fahrenheit inland and a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit up at the exposed areas of the Mountain Pine Ridge and along the Maya Mountains in the south.

A high tide is expected tonight at 11:12 p.m. and a low tide this evening at 5:20 p.m.

The Sun will set at 5:55 p.m. this evening.

The extended forecast into tomorrow night calls for warm and mostly dry weather to continue.
