Police burn marijuana plantation

During an anti-drug operation on mile 54 of the old Northern Highway in the out skirts of Orange Walk Town (Santa Martha Road), police discovered a 75 ft. by 75 ft. marijuana plantation with mature plants ranging from 1 ft. to 6ft in height.

No one was found in the area and all plants were uprooted and destroyed by fire. Police are investigating to see who the owner of the property is.
