ADU make drug bust in San Ignacio

Saturday, September 19, 2015.  BMG: An Anti-drug operation by the K9 unit and San Ignacio police led them to the discovery of cannabis and crack cocaine.

On September 18th, between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. the Anti-Drug Unit conducted an operation in an overgrown lot behind some houses where a black plastic bag was found containing 40 grams of Cannabis.

Further checks under an old refrigerator on the street side revealed three black plastic bags containing cannabis and a transparent plastic bag containing crack cocaine. The cannabis totaled 330 grams and the cocaine weighed 15 grams.

All narcotics was transported to the San Ignacio Police station where it was weighed and label as found property.
