Armed burglary in San Ignacio

Tuesday, September 22^nd, 2015. BMG: San Ignacio police are currently investigating the details surrounding an aggravated burglary in that municipality.

According to 39-year-old Judith Pulido from a 29 Rose Wood Street address in the Santiago Layout, her 46-year-old husband Ismael Pulido was feeding the dogs when three armed men wearing masks entered the yard.

One of the male persons hit Ismael on the head with a gun causing him injuries and demanded money.

Fearing for his life, Pulido handed over $1500.00. Pulido also reported to police that the culprits also took his gold chain and his licensed 9-millimeter pistol.

Police investigations into the matter are ongoing.
